Problem: How do you create a design for the Twitter Award trophy that feels unique to each winner, while expressing a data-forward approach to marketing?

Result: By pulling from twitters API, then harnessing parametric modeling, to create awards that reflect each winner’s impact on the platform. 



Process:  
 
 
1. Access Twitter API. Sketch dozens of concepts, using data
 and parameters available
 
2. Choose the most viable. Share set of a dozen
 visualizations with marketing clients & Twitter engineers
 
3. Upon selecting a direction, build model in Grasshopper, which I taught myself, 
which allows us to load in data and automatically generate visualization
 
4. Once all 16 winning Tweets were decided, API data for each was pulled then run through the parametric 
Grasshopper model. From here, 16 Rhino 3D models were packaged and sent to a laser etching manufacturer.
